Excited to Play Second Chances at Mustangs of America — Oct 25, 2025

I’m beyond honored and excited to perform at Second Chances: Mustang & Burro Adoption and Concert on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Charles Whitlow Rodeo Arena in Florence, Arizona. This event isn’t just about music — it’s about redemption, compassion, and second chances for both people and horses.

Proudly presented by the Mustangs of America Foundation and sponsored by Boot Barn, this full-day celebration brings together western heritage, community, and live country music — all under the Arizona sky.

What the Day Looks Like

This event has something special going on from start to finish:

  • Gates open at 9:00 a.m.
  • Free training demonstrations kick off at 10:00 a.m., featuring expert horsemen like Lanny Leach, Randy Helm, and the Arizona State Prison Inmate Program.
  • Mustang & burro adoptions begin at 1:00 p.m., giving these incredible animals a chance to find their forever homes.
  • VIP dinner at 3:30 p.m. for those who want a closer connection with the cause and the trainers.
  • And then at 5:00 p.m., the live concert begins — featuring Chauncey Jones & the Western Fusion Band, along with a night full of country music and celebration.

There’ll also be vendors, food trucks, and community booths on site, making it a full-day experience for the entire family.

Boot Barn — Powering a Purpose

Huge shoutout to Boot Barn for stepping up as the event sponsor. Their commitment to western culture and community runs deep, and their partnership with the Mustangs of America Foundation helps keep this mission thriving.

Boot Barn’s own “Power of Second Chances” campaign highlights exactly why events like this matter — connecting wild mustangs, inmates, and communities in a way that restores hope and purpose.

“Boot Barn believes in redemption, second chances, and the spirit of the West — values you’ll see front and center at this event.”

Jelly Roll — Amplifying the Message

One of the biggest supporters bringing national awareness to programs like this is Jelly Roll. Through his own story of redemption and recovery, he’s used his platform to remind the world that anyone can turn their life around.

Boot Barn recently spotlighted Jelly Roll in their Redemption series, where he said:

“With a pay-it-forward mentality, Jelly Roll utilizes his platform to help lift others… he amplifies redemption from the mountaintops so the world knows it’s within reach.”

His voice has helped put organizations like the Mustangs of America Foundation in front of millions — showing that real change starts when people care enough to give others a second chance.

Why It Means So Much

The Mustangs of America Foundation works tirelessly to train, rehabilitate, and rehome America’s wild horses — often partnering with correctional facilities to give inmates purpose, discipline, and a chance to rebuild their lives alongside these incredible animals.

When I step on stage that night, my goal is simple: to celebrate every one of those second chances — whether it’s a horse finding a new home, a person finding redemption, or a fan finding connection through the music.
